Resumo
Este artigo apresenta um perfil do emprego no setor de turismo e lazer no estado de Minas Gerais, na década de 90, identificando os sub-setores mais dinâmicos nesse sentido. Utilizou-se a Classificação Australiana de Cultura e Lazer, reconhecida por sua abrangência e definição criteriosa das atividades de lazer, compatibilizando-a com as informações da Classificação Nacional das Atividades Econômicas (CNAE-fiscal), de modo a se obter uma estrutura ocupacional o mais abrangente possível. Considerou-se como sub-setores as atividades de lazer, hotéis e pousadas, restaurantes e bares, agências de viagens e transportes, além de outras atividades na indústria e no comércio voltados para o lazer e o turismo. Os dados utilizados são provenientes da RAIS. A ocupação nos setores é descrita a partir das variáveis sexo, idade, escolaridade, rendimento e posição na ocupação. Conclui-se que apesar da recessão econômica e outros fatores terem contribuído para aumentar as taxas de desemprego nos sub-setores de indústria e no comércio, ocorreu um aumento significativo do emprego nos demais sub-setores, mais diretamente relacionados ao turismo, em função do contexto favorável à essa atividade e, em especial, aos efeitos das ações públicas e privadas em prol do desenvolvimento do setor.
Abstract
This article presents a profile of the job in the tourism sector and leisure in Minas Gerais in the 90s decade, identifying the most dynamic sub sectors in that sense. It was used the Australian Classification of Culture and leisure recognized by its inclusion and discerning definition of the leisure activities, adapting it with the information of the National Classification of the Economical Activities (CNAE-fiscal), in way to obtain an occupational structure as larger as possible. It was considered as sub sectors the leisure activities, hotels and lodgings, restaurants and bars, travel agencies and transports, besides other activities in the industry and in the trade gone back to the leisure and the tourism. The used data were coming from RAIS. The occupation in the sectors was described starting from the variables sex, age, education, income and position in the occupation. It is concluded that in spite of the economical recession and other. factors have contributed to increase the unemployment taxes in the industry sub sectors and in the trade, it happened to have a significant increase of the job on other sub sectors, more directly related to tourisl11, as a result of the favorable context to the activity and, especially, to the effects of the public and private actions on behalf of the development of the sector.
