Resumo
O objeto de estudo desta monografia é a análise das estratégias de gestão operacional implementadas pela Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais na circunscrição da 44ª Companhia de Polícia Militar, em Governador Valadares, nos anos de 2009 e 2010, em face das diretrizes institucionais. A pesquisa foi descritiva de natureza quantitativa e qualitativa, com abordagem de método hipotético-dedutivo. Quanto ao caráter descritivo da pesquisa foram aplicados 62 questionários de perguntas objetivas e 2 questionários de perguntas abertas, respectivamente aos policiais militares que trabalharam na atividade de policiamento ostensivo, ao comandante e ao analista criminal. A pesquisa procurou evidenciar a importância da nova gestão operacional orientada por resultados, recomendada como estratégia institucional para a melhoria da qualidade do serviço ofertado ao cidadão. Abstract
The objective of this monograph study is to analyze the strategies of operational management implemented by the Military Police of Minas Gerais in the circumscription of 44th Company of Military Police, in Governador Valadares, in the years of 2009 and 2010, in face of the institutional guidelines. The research was descriptive of a quantitative and qualitative nature, with boarding of hypothetical-deductive method. As for the descriptive character of the research 62 questionnaires of objective questions and 2 questionnaires of open questions had been applied, respectively to the military policemen who had worked in the activity of ostensive policing, to the commander and the Criminal Analyst. What the research seeks to prove is the importance of the new operational management guided by results recommended as institutional strategy for the improvement of the quality of the service offered to the citizen. The conclusion to which the research arrived is that the implemented strategies of operational management in the circumscription of 44th Company of Military Police were in compliance with the guidelines established for the Headquarters of the Corporation, as well as, that the policemen used in the activity of ostensive policing had assimilated in a satisfactory manner to these new strategies.
