Resumo
O objetivo desta pesquisa foi apresentar uma análise conjuntural sobre a Inteligência Estratégica exercida pela Segunda-Seção do Estado-Maior da Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais de forma que o trabalho possa contribuir para o entendimento conceitual das atividades exercidas pela Agência de Inteligência Estratégica (AIE) em consonância com as definições contemporâneas sobre o exercício dessa atividade e seus produtos em apoio à tomada de decisão por parte do Comando-Geral da Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais (PMMG). A análise foi realizada através de pesquisa bibliográfica, o que propiciou rever as definições de Inteligência estratégica, a origem e evolução da atividade de Inteligência, a inserção no contexto legal da Inteligência de segurança Pública, bem a como visualização do ciclo de produção de Inteligência e seus produtos, para então compreender o papel de assessoria estratégica no processo decisório do gestor máximo da PMMG. Concluiu-se nos trabalhos desenvolvidos que a atividade exercida pela Segunda seção do Estado-Maior da PMMG é atividade de Inteligência Estratégica, pois está aliada ao
ordenamento jurídico correlato ao assunto, sendo também corroborada pelos conceitos dos autores contemporâneos.
Abstract
The objective of this research was to present a situational analysis carried out on the Second Strategic Intelligence Section, General Staff of the Military Police of Minas Gerais so that work can contribute to the conceptual understanding of the activities performed by the Strategic Intelligence Agency (IEA) consistent with contemporary definitions of the exercise of this activity and its products to support decision making by the General Command of the Military Police of Minas Gerais (PMMG). The analysis was conducted through literature search, which led to revise the definitions of strategic intelligence, the origin and evolution of intelligence activity, the inclusion in the legal context of the Security Intelligence Service, as well as a preview of the production cycle and Intelligence their products, and then understand the role of strategic advice in decision making maximum PMMG manager. It was concluded that developed in the work activity performed by the Second
Section of the General Staff of the activity is PMMG Strategic Intelligence, as it is coupled with the legal counterpart to the subject, and is also supported by the concepts of contemporary authors.
