Análise das ações de prevenção à criminalidade entre o 4ª Batalhão de Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais e a Universidade de Uberaba (UNIUBE): diagnóstico e perspectivas

Resumo
O presente trabalho objetivou analisar as ações entre a polícia militar em Uberaba e a Universidade de Uberaba (UNIUBE) para prevenção à criminalidade no entorno do estabelecimento de ensino. A pesquisa realizada foi do tipo exploratória mediante levantamento bibliográfico e documental que proporcionou a base teórica e fundamentação do trabalho e da pesquisa de campo e a interpretação da evolução criminal constantes na base de dados da Terceira Seção do 4º BPM da PMMG, com foco nos bairros Olinda e Universitário. Em relação a esta evolução criminal, ênfase foi dada na análise das modalidades de roubo a transeunte, furtos de veículos e principalmente furtos no interior de veículos, sendo constatada efetividade nos meses analisados. No conteúdo do questionário foram formuladas perguntas voltadas para se conhecer a maneira com que foram desenvolvidas as ações para formulação e implementação e verificação da sensação de segurança junto à comunidade universitária. Para formulação dos objetivos foram adotados os métodos estatísticos e comparativos. Concluiu-se que as ações se desenvolveram conforme as proposições de cada parte interessada, com envolvimento direto de policiais, professores e alunos da universidade. Cada qual, participando de atividades visando sempre a redução da violência, com palestras e policiamento dirigido por parte da polícia militar e confecção de dicas de segurança com várias formas de divulgação por parte dos universitários do curso de comunicação social.
Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the actions between the military police in Uberaba and the University of Uberaba (UNIUBE) in order to prevent the crime in the vicinity of the school. The research was an exploratory study by means of biographical and documental survey that provided the theoretical basis and the rationale for the work as well as the field research and also the criminal evolution interpretation contained in the database of the Third Section of the 4th Battalion of PMMG, focusing on Olinda and University neighborhoods. In relation to this criminal evolution, emphasis was placed on the analysis of the transient forms of theft, thefts of vehicles and especially inside vehicles and it was found effective in the analyzed months. In the content of the questionnaire, questions were planned to know the way actions were developed for the formulation, implementation and also verification of the feeling of security among the university community. The statistical and comparative methods were adopted to set the goals. It was concluded that the actions were developed based on the propositions of each interested part, with the direct involvement of policemen, teachers and students of the university. Everyone taking part in activities aimed at reducing violence ever, with the help of lectures and military policing and also making safety tips through several forms of advertisement run by the university media course.
