dc.description.abstractO presente artigo visa identificar alguns dos impactos espaciais da demanda chinesa em Minas Gerais. A investigação se volta para as consequências econômicas e os espaços acionados para atender a crescente demanda chinesa por commodities, sejam minerais ou agropecuárias. Em especial, dar-se-á atenção ao segmento agropecuário, geralmente ocultado pelo peso do setor mineral estadual. O objetivo é localizar e caracterizar os principais municípios exportadores e a infraestrutura atrelada à exportação. Nesse sentido, serão destacados os rebatimentos no território, mais detidamente, nas mesorregiões do Triângulo Mineiro/Alto Paranaíba e no Noroeste de Minas, espaços nos quais se assiste a expansão da área plantada, da produtividade e da dotação de infraestrutura logística para escoamento de produtos agropecuários. Por fim, menciona-se, brevemente, estes impactos e suas contradições para o crescimento e o desenvolvimento.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractenThis article discusses the spatial impacts of Chinese demand in Minas Gerais. The economic consequences and the spaces created to meet the growing Chinese appetite for commodities, whether minerals or agricultural, will be highlighted. The focus will be on the notes of the main exporting municipalities and the infrastructure linked to exports. In particular, it will be the agricultural sector, usually hidden by the weight of the state mineral sector. In this sense, the repercussions in the territory will be highlighted, more specifically, in the mesoregions of the Triângulo Mineiro/Alto Paranaíba and in the Northwest of Minas; spaces in which the expansion of the planted area, productivity and the provision of logistics infrastructure for the flow of agricultural products can be seen. Finally, these impacts and their contradictions for growth and development are briefly summarized.pt_BR
