dc.description.abstractO presente estudo visa analisar o instituto do impeachment como configurado no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, em meio a suas faces jurídicas e políticas que englobam o procedimento. O trabalho, municiado dos métodos hipotético-dedutivo, tem como objetivo principal ponderar o quanto a influência política-pode induzir o processo de impeachment e de que maneira tais aspectos podem se sobrepor ao ordenamento jurídico vigente. Neste diapasão, o estudo examinou o instituto sob uma ótica jurídica, através das disposições formais do procedimento, tendo como escopo a Constituição da República Federal do Brasil e a Lei Federal n° 1.079 de 10 de abril de 1950. Ademais, foram consideradas questões da ciência política abarcadas por diversos autores da área, que contribuíram para discussão da temática desenvolvida. Conclui-se que o procedimento do impeachment, regulamentado por legislação federal, está permeado pelo viés político no Brasil.pt_BR

The work, using hypothetical-deductive methods, has the main objective of considering how much political influence can induce the impeachment process and how these aspects may overlap with the current legal system. In this tuning fork, the study examined the institute from a legal point of view, through the formal provisions of the procedure, having as scope the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Brazil and Federal Law No. 1,079 of April 10, 1950. Furthermore, issues of science were considered politics covered by several authors in the area, who contributed to the discussion of the theme developed. It is concluded that the impeachment procedure, regulated by federal legislation, is permeated by the political bias in Brazil.pt_BR
